REFLECTION ON THE CONDUCT OF LAC SESSION

The LAC session conducted was a very good refresher to us, teachers, who are already
in the service. I am very thankful we had that LAC session since it gave me valuable insights.
First, it made me realize that humans as we are, we tend to become lax as years pass by
thinking that we are already experts in the field. However, this mentality must be changed.
We must not forget that teachers hold a great responsibility to the school, to the community,
and even to the profession itself.
Second, the LAC session for teachers puts premium on ensuring quality education to all
Filipino learners. This implies that we must upgrade ourselves by pursuing further studies to
improve efficiency and strengthen competence.
Third, this LAC session sets as a reminder that we are most privileged to be in the
noblest profession on earth. Hence, we must not engage into anything that would give a
moral blemish to our profession.
Lastly, let us bear in mind, that he backbone of teaching and learning lies in the
assessment. Proper planning includes knowing what type of assessment will be given to the
different kind of learners A well- planned assessment will give the learner a chance to
showcase what he/she learns from us teachers.
