METES OP02

Energy Meter Optical Programming Probe

General Description
The METES OP02 is a universal Optical Programming
Probe for energy meters compliant to IEC 61107. Other Optical Probe Models
 OP01 – RS232
Similar in specification to METES OP02 – RS232, but
externally powered for uses like:

- Hand Held Units (HHU).


Supplied complete with Fischer 12 pin male plug.
Other types of plugs available on request.
- Meter Test Bench applications.

 OP02 – RS232
Similar in specification to METES OP02 – USB, but
intended for use with PCs or Notebooks with RS232
ports.
 OP02 – USB (ANSI)
Similar in specification to METES OP02 - USB, but
intended for use with PCs or Notebooks with USB
ports and to the requirements of ANSI C12.18-1996.
The optical programming probe is supplied
Features complete with USB drivers.
 Self Powered
The OP02 – USB is powered from the
Desktop or Notebook PC’s USB port (therefore no Compatible Energy Meters
auxiliary supply is required to power the optical probe). The optical Probe was developed to operate with
