Holy Holy Holy

The document provides a narration to precede an orchestral arrangement of the hymn "Holy, Holy, Holy." It consists of 4 speakers, 2 male and 2 female, who will read the narration slowly and with awe. The narration describes visions from the books of Isaiah and Revelation where angels and figures around God's throne proclaim "Holy, holy, holy" is the Lord. It aims to build intensity with each repetition of "Holy."

NARRATION TO PRECEDE THE ORCHESTRA ARRANGEMENT,

“HOLY, HOLY, HOLY,” BY DAVID WINKLER

May be read by one or more narrators. Suggested - Speakers 1 & 3 female,

Speakers 2 & 4 male. Read slowly and dramatically, with a sense of awe!

SPEAKER 1: In the year that King Uzziah of Judah died, the prophet
Isaiah had a mighty vision. He said:

SPEAKER 2: I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up,
and the train of His robe filled the temple.
Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings ...
And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is
the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His
glory!”

SPEAKER 3: Years later, on the isle of Patmos, the exiled apostle

John received a revelation. He said:

SPEAKER 4: I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven ...

and behold, a throne ... and One sat on the throne ...
Around the throne ... I saw twenty-four elders
... and four living creatures, each having six wings ...
And they do not rest day or night, saying:

ALL: [with increasing intensity] “Holy – holy – holy – Lord

God Almighty – who was – and is – and is – to come!”
