Microsoft Word - VO2Max Norms Chart1

This document contains two charts that provide VO2 max and VO2 threshold norms for men and women of different ages. The VO2 max chart lists ranges of VO2 max values in mL/kg/min considered low, fair, average, good, high, athletic and Olympic for various age groups of men and women from ages 20 to 65. The VO2 threshold chart similarly lists ranges of VO2 threshold values in mL/kg/min for different performance levels and age/gender groups. Both charts were adapted from a 1960 study and provide a basis for evaluating cardiorespiratory fitness levels.
