Instructions for 3D

Stegosaurus Paper Model


Follow these simple instructions to make your
stegosaurus model.
You will need:

The three templates A pair of scissors Some glue


(on two pages)
What to do:
First, cut out the three templates. You need to cut carefully along the
1 solid black lines.

Now, fold all of the ‘dotted lines’ and the ‘dotted and dashed lines’ on
2 each template. Be careful! The dotted lines fold down (a hill fold) and
the dotted and dashed lines fold up (a valley fold).
Follow this diagram.

Take the long template. Make the mouth


3 by glueing tabs 1 and 2 to each side.

Now take the two other templates.


4 Glue the ends of their tails together,
as shown.

Now join these two templates to the

Make the back of the stegosaurus next.

other side with tab 6.
