Opener's Suit Rebids Guide

This document provides guidelines for opener's rebids after an opening bid of one suit and a response in a new suit or no trump. It outlines that a simple rebid in opener's original suit promises 5 cards, while a jump rebid promises 6 cards. Raising partner's suit promises 4 cards, while a jump raise promises the same. Bidding a new suit at the two level or higher shows a 5 card suit and at least 4 cards in opener's original suit. Guidelines are also provided for rebids by opener holding balanced hands, showing point counts of 15-19 points.
