Deploys and Tests A Workflow in Collibra

I have the option to use the deploy
button or export the workflow app
to my local device and then upload
to Collibra.

Follow me as I export the
workflow from Workflow Designer.

Click Export.

Within Collibra's settings, under
Workflows, click Upload a file.

Now, we've uploaded the workflow
to Collibra. You can see it was
created under the name Asset
Creation Flow.

We want to make this workflow
available to all users in Collibra.
Check the box next to the text Any
signed in user can start the
workflow.

Click the box next to the text that
says Show in global create. This
makes the workflow visible to
users from the global create icon.

Scroll up and click the play icon to
enable the workflow.

Now we are going to test the
workflow out. Click the global
create button.

Click Actions.

Select Asset Creation Flow.

Here, we can see a notification
that the workflow has started.

We have a "1" next to Tasks to
indicate there is a workflow task
ready for us to complete. Click
Tasks.

Since we initiated the workflow,
we have received the asset
request form, User requests new
asset.

Type Stylish Leather Shoes in the
Asset Name field.

Click Business Asset from the
Asset Type dropdown list.

Click Domain.

Select New Business Terms
from the dropdown list.

Type the following: A new spin-
off asset for our latest leather
shoe release.

Click Submit.

Since we are logged in to the
admin account, we have received
the admin review form for the
request. As you can see, all the
details from the request are here.
Note the Asset Type and Domain
dropdowns capture the string
UUID.
Click Approve.

Click Submit.

An email from no-reply@collibra.
com was sent to the requester
and the admin.

Going back into Collibra, we
searched for the asset in Collibra
Data Marketplace.

We have confirmed the asset
was successfully created. The
requester can go in and add
more details to the asset.
