Sample Expenses:
1. Car Insurance: If you already pay car insurance, you can use the amount you
currently pay a month. If not, search car insurance companies in the area you live
and figure out a monthly cost for the type of car you purchased.

2. Gas: How much money do you typically spend a month on gas? If you don’t
currently drive, search current gas prices in the area you live.

3. Utilities: If you are renting and utilities are included, you don’t have to worry about
adding this to your monthly budget. If you purchased a house or utilities are not
included in your rent, you must search for utility prices for the size house you
own/rent.

4. Water/Sewer/Trash: Typically around $100.00 a month for all three.

5. Medical Expenses: Search for Health Insurance plans for someone your age.

6. Phone: Search for cell phone plans and find a monthly cost or if you currently pay
a certain amount a month for your current cell phone, you can use that price.

7. TV Services: Search for local cable company prices. If you want streaming
services, netflix, hula, etc. you will need to search the monthly cost for those
services.

8. Internet: Search for internet prices in the area that you live.
