1. To entertain to the listener.
2. As media to express feelings.
3. Teach the listener moral values that are hidden in the Lyric.
c. GENERIC STRUCTURE
1. Verse : the main part of song that tell a story.
2. Refrain /Chorus : is a part of a song that is repeated.
3. Coda : is a line that closes a song.
d. LANGUAGE FEATURE
1. Images : are used to describe feelings emotions.
2. Rhythm : is used to create the mood of the song.
3. Experiences : told sometimes use figure of speech.
