Excuse Letter Tubuanan
As the National Commission for Culture and the Arts gears up for the 2024 celebration of
National Arts Month (NAM) this February, per Presidential Proclamation No. 683, the
Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, through the Center for Rinconada Culture and the
Arts (CRCA), is set to host a series of activities aligned with our mission to promote,
preserve, and ensure the sustainable development of Rinconada’s culture and arts.
Guided by the theme “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain,” CRCA has collaborated with
local governments in Rinconada and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples-
Region V to organize "Tubuanan: Tracing Origins Through Oral Narratives," a
systematic documentation of stories from local communities using the “iristoryahan”
approach as an organic and native (katutubo) method for story-gathering and
documentation. Student-cultural workers are scheduled to conduct fieldwork from
February 12-16, 2024.
In the spirit of our mutual love for Rinconada culture and arts, we respectfully seek the
endorsement of your good office for students and faculty of Bachelor of Culture and Arts
Education (BCAEd) to participate in the events outlined below:
