What is the Manizales Fair?
It is one of the most traditional fairs and festivals in Colombia that each year adorns the city of
Manizales, located in the heart of the Colombian coffee region, and recognized as Cultural
Heritage of the Nation. It is just after the Cali Fair ends, when the year is just beginning,
Manizales continues to ignite the spirit of the celebration thanks to its traditional fair
During this festival, activities such as the traditional parade, bullfights, float parade, musical
presentations and other events such as the Tango Festival, the presentation of vocal and string
ensembles, some sports competitions and folk dance presentations take place.
INTERNATIONAL REIGN OF COFFEE
Traditional event of the Manizales Fair, in which the guests of this contest, from different
countries of the world and connoisseurs of Coffee, fill the festivities that accompany this
renowned event with beauty and joy.
PARADES
This is one of the activities that attracts the most spectators at the Fair, totaling approximately
1 million people, in the Welcome Parades, Las Naciones, Carretas del Roció and La Macarena,
where dance and art come together to offer a spectacle of color and joy for locals and visitors.
CONCERTS
The Plaza de Bolívar de Manizales, is one of the key epicenters of the Fair, located in the heart
of the Historic Center of Manizales, certified as the second capital city in a sustainable tourist
destination, granted by the Vice Ministry of Tourism and Fontur.
