effectively guides the reader through the comparison and contrast process. This involves a thorough
understanding of the topic at hand and the ability to discern relevant similarities and differences.

from both auto dealers and private citizens. The ATPA funds non profit agencies to VIN

outdated as the new technology on cars often prohibits the actual theft and ability to
drive away with a complete vehicle without a key fob. Moreover, thieves are stealing just

The War Is Tearing The Country Of Syria Apart
The year is 2011 and war is tearing the country of Syria apart. The people have had
enough and begin to run to their neighboring countries of Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, and
Iraq (Rogers, Syria: The story of the conflict BBC News ). More than four million
refugees fled to these lands and thousands more fled to other countries. Now in 2015 the
refugee count is up to over 4,000,000 refugees along with more refugees crossing in
European Unionmember states (Rogers, Syria: The story of the conflict BBC News ).
Now these European countries face the issue of holding more population than the
government was designed to provide for. The crisis of the refugees is also beginning to
spread to the United States. Michigan is willing to open its doors to more than 10,000
Syrian refugees. Although the idea of showing kindness to our neighbors is presented by
these nations, the holding of refugees is effecting the everyday lives of the people and
the economies of the countries.
All over European headlines, news of the Syrian refugees fleeing from their war torn
country dominates. However, recently it has been seen in the headlines of the United
States that some state are considering letting refugees into their borders. In particular
Michigan and its Governor Rick Snyder have decided to look into how many refugees
it the state can handle. Gov. Snyder said There is a real crisis in the Middle East with
refugees...isn t it part of our nature as Americans to say. How can we help people in

Through out parties and special events, a variety of dances such as Bachata, Salsa,
Choque, and Merengue has shown me that Hispanic dancing requires swift movement
and coordination. My family has placed dancing on a very high pedestal. Each culture
in my community has a great deal of importance, I look forward to learn from each
culture to enrich my own. Every year I would go to parades, street fairs, and would go to

Comparing Julius Caesar s The Twelve Caesars
Julius Caesar s mindset influenced the history of his people. He was born July 12, 100
b.c in Rome as Gaius Julius Caesar, known today as Julius Caesar. He was a Praetor,
Aedile, Consul, Pontifex Maximus, and dictator for life, and his greatest achievement is
changing the Roman republic to the Roman empire. His life ended tragically when he
was stabbed twenty three times by his political enemies. Creating the Roman empire
changed the history of his people.
The three main sources used in this essay are Julius Caesar by Joshua J. Mark, Caesar,
Julius by Justin Cornfield, and The Twelve Caesars by Suetonius. The twelve Caesars
by Suetonius is the only contemporary source; Suetonius lived and wrote the book
within one hundred years of Julius death. The twelve caesars is the most reliable
because it is a contemporary source. Historians do not know much about his education
when he was a child up to when his father died, but they know that he studies rhetoric
later in life.
Julius Caesar was born into a patrician family. He was born in July 100 BCE in Italy.
His mother, Aurelia Cotta, was of noble birth and his father was Gaius Julius Caesar, a
praetor. His family supported the popular party; he had relatives in politics and his
uncle is the great Marius and his family s ancestry goes back to Venus, goddess of love.
Julius Caesar s family connections help him further in his life.

Forgotten Filipino Heroes in America
Delano Manongs
Manongs, is a common word I hear when I was in the Philippines, which means
elderly. This is what I call the jeepney drivers, strangers in the streets or even the
security guard in my school. But here in America, they were the forgotten heroes
whom I look up to. They were named as The Delano Manongs, kind hearted Filipino
men, working in the fields with no families of their own. I chose to report about the
Delano Manongs because I went to one of the Filipino club meeting in Chabot College
and the topic was about Larry Itliong and Philip Vera Cruz. They showed us a video
about how they were recognized to be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Now whats happening is that you get all this national publicity coming in but its focused
on the Mexican workers. o All the voulunteers is going there and all the organizing is
happening there. o The filipinos are not the spotlight for the strike. o Filipnos are drifting
away because they were not being the spotlight

In 1970 5 years after the filipinos walked out the fields. One of the longest strike in
labor history. The growers finally agreed to recognize the United Farmworkers Union and
sign a contract.
But as the manong returned to Delano for the new grape harvest season, they found
themselves marginalized from work
The new union rules favored the local farmworkers and not the migrant workers. So
amny of the filipinos lost their jobs, and worst the farmers closed the lab or camps so
they lost their homes
We started it an they lost in the end
Larry and the filipinos were upset for they were not being heard or they were being
