Taking into account that I obtained a score of 85 out of 130, I can interpret that I am at
level B1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), where I am able
to understand the main points of clear texts on issues that are familiar, such as in situations of
work, study, leisure, etc., respond in most situations that may arise during a trip through an area
where the language is spoken, produce simple related texts on topics of interest or familiar and I

am able to describe experiences , events, dreams, aspirations and ambitions and offer reasons and
brief explanations for opinions and plans.
According to this result, the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), I can
see that I have improved, because I can understand aspects related to my environment, write
simple texts of my interest and I can describe some things or situations, and this is in line with
the intermediate level B1.
In addition, it is reflected in my language skills, such as:
Listening: where I can understand the main ideas of clear and normal speeches or
everyday affairs, main ideas of television or radio programs.
Reading: I can understand common texts, descriptions of people, events or feelings.
Speaking: I can link sentences in a simple way with the purpose of describing
experiences, dreams, interests, giving opinions or talking about past events, things of greater
interest.
Writing: I can write simple, coherent and cohesive texts on familiar topics of interest to
me.

Step 2: Strengths and Weaknesses
Taking this English test to find out my level, it was very frustrating for me, I had mixed
feelings, because I felt that I had a long way to go to reach a more advanced level, I can perceive

that one of my biggest weaknesses is listening, it is quite difficult for me understand a
conversation 100 percent, for me they are speaking very fast and they confuse me, another
weakness is my speaking I am afraid to speak because sometimes I do not pronounce some
words correctly and on other occasions I take too long organizing my ideas to speak them, so
there is moments of silence and that frustrates me. Although I am aware that with effort and
dedication I can turn these weaknesses into strengths, that is why, when I can, I listen to English
music, I look for programs that speak English, I have started listening to audios of different
dialogues when I have time and I have downloaded the Duolingo application. to practice with
different activities.
On the other hand, I have strengths in writing and reading, I can write short texts on
everyday topics and when I have texts in English I can understand them easily, usually when I
look at an unknown word I look for it to know its meaning and to be able to learn it, however I
know that I can improve these skills by constant reading and grammar exercises.
I believe that my English can improve at this stage because every day I am training in the
beautiful process of education with my motivation and patience I will be able to master the
English language.
