Dajes Task2

The document compares test scores between two groups, Group A and Group B, to determine if there is a significant difference in mean job satisfaction scores. Table 1 shows the job satisfaction scores for Group A ranging from 77 to 889, while Table 2 shows the scores for Group B ranging from 88 to 97. Normality and homogeneity tests found no violations of assumptions. An independent samples t-test was conducted and revealed a p-value less than 0.001, indicating a significant difference in mean job satisfaction scores between the two groups. Therefore, the null hypothesis of no difference is rejected.

TASK 2 – INDEPENDENT T-TEST

I would like to compare the test scores between two groups to know if there is a significant
difference in the mean job satisfaction scores between the two discussing the variability in scores and
implications of the results.

TABLE 1. TEST SCORES OF GROUP A

Group Job Satisfaction Scores

Null Hypothesis: There is no significant difference in the mean job satisfaction scores between the two
groups.

Alternative Hypothesis: There is a significant difference in the mean job satisfaction scores between the
two groups.

Table 3a. Normality Test

Table 3b. Homogeneity Test

As presented on the tables above, using Normality Test and Homogeneity Test showed that there
are no violations on the assumptions for both tests got a p-value greater than 0.05 this considering at as
normal and homogenous.

Table 4. Descriptives of the Data

Table 5. Independent Samples T-Test

Decision: The Null Hypothesis is rejected.

The p-value is <.001 indicating that there is a significant difference between the job satisfaction
scores between two groups.
