• DIY (Do It Yourself) is an idea, a philosophy, a lifestyle. UClean strives to drive “human
change” and develop “Self Operated or DIY” laundromats at a global level starting with
India. By reducing the dependence on external stakeholders (house help or not-so-
effective washing machines), UClean strives to promote a culture of DIY where DIY
becomes a way of life.
• “Free time or me-time” is becoming scarce. In metro cities and tier 1 cities of the
country, density of nuclear and DINK (Double Income No Kids) families and bachelors is
increasing who are always struggling to find some “me-time” for the family, away from
all the worldly distractions.
• UClean is targeting to introduce this DIY culture in India and build it from scratch by
leveraging franchising, technology and hard core analytics in laundry systems

advanced laundry machinery and technology. Our laundries come equipped with Alliance machines which are widely regarded as the gold
standard in the laundry industry. Besides being the official machinery supplier, Alliance has gone out of their way back up UClean by
providing laundry machines at “UClean Exclusive Prices”, full training support, technological knowhow and participation in PR/
marketing campaigns
• Franchise India: Franchise India is Asia’s largest franchising and licensing firm with offices across 15 cities in India and a team of 1000+
professionals specializing in franchise education and franchise sales. Till date, Franchise India has worked with close to a 1000 Indian
and international brands and helped them achieve scales through franchising. Participation of Franchise India in the venture is a
validation of the potential of UClean in the market. Entire network and infrastructure of Franchise India will be leveraged to identify
and recruit the most passionate franchises for the brand. It is this network of franchise entrepreneurs who will collectively make
UClean and laundry synonymous. For a company that has developed the entire concept of franchising in this part of the world, they have
shown immense faith in the concept and the brand by also investing initial seed fund which has been a validation of sorts for us
