Background and Rationale: In this period of time, our community has a lot of
problems like the children who are affected by
malnutrition, improper waste disposal that causes
pollution to our surroundings, and there are also
children who are not fluent in reading.

So, the Grade 12 HUMMS from Masbate


Polytechnic and Development College,
Incorporated are planning to do some ways in
connection with our Culminating Activity. We are
going to conduct a “CLEAN-UP DRIVE” for the
community of Potoson. We are going to clean the
canals to stop water from clogging and to make
them clean and safe for the people. We are also
going to conduct a “LUGAW PARA SA
KABATAAN” because we know that the health of
children is important. We are also going to
conduct “PABASA PARA SA KABATAAN” to
help children improve their reading skills. Our
hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal once said that “Ang
Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan” which tends to
say that having a healthy lifestyle and good
nutrition for children could make our community
improve. Let’s build togetherness, let’s unite, and
let’s clean our surroundings in order for us to live
peacefully. Children must have a good and healthy
lifestyle to have a better future and to help the
community improve.

MASBATE POLYTECHNIC AND DEVELOPMENT COLLEGE, INCORPORATED would
