Availability of Hostel at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus


Type of room: Single and double occupancy room with one iron Almira, one cot, one
table and one chair for each student.

Allotment policies:
First Degree Programmes (Single/dual degree)
1. First and second year students will be allotted a double occupancy room. Third
years onwards, single occupancy room will be allotted.
2. All first year students will be allotted a double occupancy rooms on a random basis
at the time of admissions in BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. They may be given an
opportunity to swap their room with likeminded student after a month. This
change will only be effective after approval from the warden/chief warden.
3. Few students of second year may be allotted single occupancy room based on the
availability of single occupancy rooms.
4. Second year students will be given an opportunity to choose their room partner,
room number and the wing.
Higher Degree Programmes (M.E)
1. All first year students will be allotted single/double occupancy rooms on a random
basis at the time of admission in BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. They may be
given an opportunity to swap their room with likeminded student after a month.
2. Based on the availability of room, first year higher degree students may be
transferred into single occupancy room.
3. Second year students will be allotted single occupancy room.
PhD Programmes
All research scholar will be allotted a single occupancy room.
