The PDX is a portable, rapid deployment router
designed to provide stable and secure connection from
remote locations.
It comes with a quad-cellular router, both cellular and
GPS antennas, and batteries; all seamlessly
integrated into a rugged enclosure capable of
withstanding the rigors of the outdoors.
Deployable within minutes, the PDX offers Public
Safety personnel the ability to immediately establish
stable and secure communications to headquarters
from any emergency site. Equipped with built-in
interfaces for WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi, as well as
antennas for cellular and GPS, the PDX can be used
in remote and volatile situations as field
hospitals,missions, mobile bases etc.

Antennas for PDX
Peplink’s PDX can be use with different antennas, for for outdoor environment. Sometimes, signals may become
weak under certain conditions, such as bad weather. In those situations, a stronger antenna is needed to receive
the weak signals, something the provided antennas might not be able to do.
In addition, interference from surrounding objects and the distance from the cell tower further weakens the signal.
To combat this, customers may want the antenna to be deployed outdoors, instead of being directly plugged into
the router. The external antennas usage are only possible if you equip the PDX with the extra modems in the
optional slots. If for different outdoor projects, the customer would like to use of the extra slots, he will use a
SpeedFusion engine/BR2 micro, for external antennas with these modems.
