                                       Jal Jeevan Mission
(A Govt. of India's Flagship program for Rural Piped Drinking Water Supply)
                                           Vision
Every rural household has drinking water supply in adequate quantity of prescribed quality
on regular and long-term basis at affordable service delivery charges leading to
improvement in living standards of rural communities.
One remarkable achievement under the Jal Jeevan Mission is the
success of Chhattisgarh in providing 100% household tap connections to
75% of its rural areas. Chhattisgarh has made significant progress in
extending water supply infrastructure to every household, thereby
ensuring access to clean drinking water to a large proportion of its rural
                                population
Through the dedicated efforts of the state government and various
implementing agencies, Chhattisgarh has been successful in achieving
high coverage of tap water connections in its rural areas. This
achievement has not only improved the quality of life for the rural
population but has also contributed towards the overall development
                                and well-being of the state.
