a. August – December 2024: Academic coursework at Georgetown University
McDonough School of Business.

the weekly seminar series held as a co-curricular component of the program.
4. Recruitment Process: Selection of participants is based on a multi-step recruitment process
that has been outlined below in 4 steps:
Step 1: Provide IFC (Kateryna Timina) with names, titles and email addresses of 3-
4 of your employees whom you would like to nominate for the program by January
31, 2024.
Step 2: IFC will reach out to the nominated candidates to provide them with details
to start the application process.

15, 2024, selected candidates will be called for interviews over
Teams/Webex/Zoom.
Step 4: Best candidates from the interviews will form Fall cohort of the participants

Program.
5. Timeline: Nominations need to be submitted by January 31, 2024.
Costs:
• IFC and the MI will sponsor 100% of tuition costs for select participants (priority given to
participants from IDA countries and will be based on merit). In this case the employer will
cover the participant’s non-tuition expenses - living expenses for the first semester
(approximately $17,000 based on 2023 estimates) and air ticket to D.C. and back. In
addition, we also encourage that the employers continue to pay participants the regular
salary throughout the duration of the program. The expenses for the second semester are
expected to be covered by the internship client that the participant will be placed with.
• In case the selected participant is not offered 100% of IFC/MI scholarship, the employers
will be expected to cover at least 51% of the tuition cost (~ $25,000) for the participant to
be eligible for the J1 visa. The J1 visa is mandatory for all international candidates to
participate in the program.
Re-entry guarantee: The nominating institution commits to guarantee job re-entry at the same or
higher level to the participant(s) upon completion of the Program so that they can actively
contribute to local capital-market development for at least two years.
