Eastern Back To School Week 2021-2022

Concept-based teaching and learning focuses on "big ideas" or universal concepts rather than specific content. It aims to help students understand how to apply their learning across disciplines and to real-world problems. Key aspects include using concepts that connect different subject areas, generalizations to guide planning, and making connections to other standards and real-world contexts. This approach aims to develop students' critical thinking skills for solving 21st century problems.
