Updates ● Students (among other students only) 3 feet or greater inside the school
building with masks are not considered close contacts
● Adults (among adults or students) 6 feet or greater with masks are not
considered close contacts
○ Unvaccinated close contacts could quarantine up to 14 days
(minimum of 7 days)
○ Vaccinated close contacts will monitor for 14 days and mask
○ COVID positive must quarantine for 10 days regardless of
vaccinated or unvaccinated
● Currently concurrent teaching is optional. If MSDE approves attendance
rules that would allow students to be marked present, this may become
mandatory.

Updates School expectations while inside with students:
● Students and staff masked while students are in the building
● Maintain student distance at 3 feet with masks
● Cohort students to the extent possible
School staff expectation while inside WITHOUT students:
● Staff can choose to mask if able to maintain 6 foot distancing
● Lunch- must be minimally 6 foot distance
School outside and at recess:
● Masks are optional
● Limit close contacts
● Maintain social distancing 6ft (3ft is only in a classroom setting inside)
● Think about capacity of playgrounds and spread staff during recess
