My Early Years
Childhood represents a fundamental part of every child, from the most special
moments that are kept in miniature memories within our senses, smells, tastes. The
memory of mom or dad cooking, buying your favorite cake, wearing your favorite
dress or costume. Having a toy or clothes that you never want to take off.The first
years of life are special and momentary. It is said that humans keep important
memories, however, they can sometimes be distorted. Because of this, at social
events we discuss close experiences with our loved ones or support networks. My
first years of life were cherished memories, although some of them were a little
strong due to the fact that I was hospitalized for a while with treatment, the one who
was present in the injections, consultation appointments, laboratories and
hospitalizations was my mother. I went to different doctors until I found my
medication. I liked the color pink and princesses too much, I remember all the
princess themed birthday parties from 1 year to 6 years old, I have the memory of
my aunt buying me princess ampon dresses for my birthdays. At Christmas when I
was about 4 years old I was given a pair of heels in which I always wore the dresses.
My mom used to take us continuously when I was 3 to 5 years old to Merida Yucatan
to visit my uncle, since my mom was born there. I remember my brothers asleep in
hammocks and continuous visits to the beach to look for seashells. I was in a
bilingual preschool, my paternal aunt was the principal, I remember the toy breaks
where we developed gross and fine motor skills. The festivities were celebrated at
my paternal grandmother's house. When I was a child my grandfather was still with
us, I have very good memories with him. He was a grandfather who hid like a little
kid to eat chocolate and told me not to tell my grandmother, he cooked food for us
and gave us the toys he found. I remember that he spent his pension for a princess
trunk that I wanted as a child, which I still have, I didn't know that I needed the money,
he bought it for me to see me happy, I keep it as an object that reminds me of him
who is part of my life, even if he is not here. I remember my cousin taking us on
Saturday or Sunday outings such as to the movies, skating, going for walks, among
others. My kindergarten graduation was in a very nice dress, there was a dance,
diplomas were handed out, and the last assembly of the escort was held. I was given
a rose gold ring. My favorite toys were barbies, babies, I played at being a
professional, I thought I was going to be a veterinarian. At one time I used to play at
being a fashion designer and cut my mom's fabrics, she would get angry because I
left her rags and dryers. I remember a favorite toy that my parents gave me at
Christmas that was like a makeup set with different colors, in which I had a doll to do
my makeup and I also did my cousin's makeup. They were very precious moments
and memories, I have in memory before my mom worked the food the smell of love
of food, as a landlord, I had a teddy bear backpack that I held on to so much that
when it broke and I started to sew it as best I could, I learned to sew on my own to
make my dolls' dresses. My childhood was very good, my parents always supported
my paintings, drawings, creations from a very young age.
