Information and technology skills
• Information technology skills refer to the ability to carry out diverse
duties in IT roles. These skills, areas of knowledge and abilities relate to
the creation, usage, application and management of different types of
technology. IT skills come in many forms, and different positions may
require distinct skill sets.

• Because of this, it's crucial to emphasize your most relevant skills when
applying for IT jobs to help you be a more appealing candidate for hiring
managers. You often can develop these skills through on -the-job
training, education programs and degree paths, formal training and
certification programs.

Learning and innovation skills increasingly
are being recognized as the skills that
separate students who are prepared for
increasingly complex life and work
environments in the 21st century, and
those who are not. A focus on creativity,
critical thinking, communication and
Learning and
collaboration is essential to prepare Innovation skills
students for the future.

Learning and Innovation Skills, or the 4 C's

Collaboration. If the 4 C's sound familiar, it's
because they probably are. Most people
learned many of these skills in school.
