He and his counterparts within the Paulista School

It differed from the smooth and curved figures their


architectural predecessor Oscar Niemeyer brought
about in Brazil.

The museum has a dual


organization: the main
pavilion contains the coach
collection and the adjacent
volume accommodates
offices, a restaurant, and an
auditorium.
Structurally speaking, the exhibitions pavilion
concentrates its loads on fourteen pillars, on
which four braced metallic trusses rest.

The adjacent building is composed of a concrete


framework which contains three independent
prisms, covered by a metallic grid that lets natural
light make its way into the building.
