Overview
This section details the known MOTOTRBO product issues, which remain outstanding at the time of this
release of software to the field.

Known product issues are divided into two categories:

Known issues contained within the current release

Issues that have been resolved within the current release

Definitions
A known issue is a problem that is currently unresolved (open).

A closed or resolved issue is one that has been repaired and no longer should occur in the product after
upgrading to the new product version.

The risk and workaround aspects are included in the release note description (Known Issues) for overall
assessment of the problem.

What’s new in the Release


1) RSSI Display Value: Provides access to the MOTOTRBO subscriber's current RSSI value by pressing the
left arrow three times and immediately pressing the right arrow three times, all within 5 seconds.

2) MOTOTRBO CSA Battery: Software added to MOTOTRBO CSA portables that will differentiate a
battery used for a 1W versus a 2W portable, and display an "Incorrect Battery" alert on the radio screen
if the incorrect battery has been attached.

Known issues in product release

User Impact Description In a Linked Capacity Plus system that has a data revert repeater as part of a site, the rest
channel will not move around in a "round-robin" fashion - instead trunked calls are always
assigned first to channels 1 and 2, if they are available. The other channels are assigned as
rest channels only if channels 1 and 2 are busy/not available.
Frequency of Occurrence 100% (if there is a data revert repeater at the site in a Linked Capacity Plus system)
