C. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
INTRODUCTION Prayer
 The teacher will play an audio-video for a prayer.
Greetings
 The teacher will greet the students with Bisaya language.
Maayong Aldaw!
Kamusta imong aldaw?
If the students are happy, they will say, “Malipayun!”
If the students does not feel good, they will say, “Masulob-on!”

Reminders
 The learners will be reminded on classroom rules and safety protocols.

The teacher includes a plan of assignments so that students with learning


disability can work toward the same goal in different ways.
In this class, there is a student with low vision, she can’t see visuals on the
board or screen. The teacher will provide a clear picture of a worksheet for
that specific student to cope with the lesson. It can be seen in the enclosures
of this lesson exemplar.

Attendance Check
 The teacher will check the students’ attendance and classroom environment.

News Update
 Learners will be asked to share what news they have heard or read for the day.

Review

“If given a chance to be a member of an advocacy, in what group would you like to belong?
(e.g. HIV/AIDS, Anti-Bullying, Pro-Nature and Buhay) Call a student to share his opinion.

pursue. The multidisciplinary approach in the study of the applied social sciences can equip
students with the skills and expertise to work in schools, colleges, and universities.

Students will look for Bangsamoro Region on the map.

The learners will watch a video from Unicef:


“Children in remote Bangsamoro villages walk long hours to get to school”

Students will be divided into two groups and make a concept map based on the guide
questions given. They will follow the given layout for the concept map.

Guide Questions:
1. What social issue is evident on the film?
2. What is the implication of their situation to education?
3. What is the function of applied social sciences (communication, social work, and
counseling) to education?

Learners will present and discuss the various functions of applied social sciences in terms of
education from the brainstorming activity.
What can I do?

The two groups will be given different tasks:

Group 1
Slogan Making:
Make a slogan about the importance of applied social sciences in minimizing social problems
concerning education.

Group 2
Role play:
Present any situations pertaining to education as applied to social sciences.
