MPH – MULTI-PURPOSE HALL

Before the Exam

• Prepare the essentials you need


before coming to school such as

❑ calculator (if needed)


❑ transparent pencil case or plastic
❑ blue or black pen
❑ eraser
❑ pencil HB
❑ sharpener
❑ ruler and protractor (if needed)
Materials that are not allowed
during exam

Red pen
Correction fluid
Erasable pen
Lead / mechanical pencil
Smart watch
Any electronic gadget
Colored / dark pencil case and
water bottle
Before the Exam

• Bring your transparent water bottle

• Wear your complete school uniform


with ID (IDs are required during the
actual / real Checkpoint exam)

• Please ensure that you are stationed


at the waiting area twenty (20)
minutes before your scheduled exam
time (to be strictly followed)
Before the Exam

• Upon arrival, kindly stay at your designated


place- WAITING AREA (GYM AREA)
• Wait for the teacher’s instruction before
proceeding to the MPH- 2nd floor (Multi-Purpose
Hall)
• Leave your bags on your chair at the waiting
area (bring your valuables – phones, wallet,
gadgets to second floor; you will put it in a
basket before entering the exam room)
• Go to the toilet before exam starts
All phones and wallets (including
other valuables) will be placed in
the tray outside MPH
Before the exam – when candidates enter the room

• the exam is in progress as soon as the candidates enter


the exam room
• sit according to the instruction of the exam officer /
invigilators
• sign the attendance register
• Don’t attempt to bring any unauthorised materials in
the examination room
• unauthorised materials must be surrendered upon
checking / before entering the exam room
During the Exam

• Answer your exam paper.

• You must not communicate with,


ask for help from, or give help to
any other candidate in the exam
room.

• Review your answers once you are


finished.
During the Exam

A candidate can raise his / her hand


for help:

Invigilators can only answer questions


about information on the front of the
paper

Invigilators do not give any advice to


the candidate about the content of the
question paper
During the exam

• Don’t ever attempt to use hidden electronic communications


devices such as smart watches or earpieces

• Bringing unauthorized materials inside the examination room


even without the intention of using it is considered
malpractice and can be a ground for DISQUALIFICATION

• a candidate who is disruptive can be removed from the room


During the exam – late arrivals

• If a candidate arrives late, he/ she can take the exam but
will only have the remaining time for the exam left upon
entering the exam room

• Invigilators will record the reason the candidate was late,


the time they arrived, started and finished their exam to
be submitted to the exams officer
At the end of the exam
• Candidates must stay seated until scripts have been collected, and
accounted for, all the question papers and any additional continuation
sheets.

• Candidates will be dismissed by column.

• Kindly exit the exam room silently as there are other students taking
exam in the room.
After the Exam

• Take your valuables from the trays outside


MPH
• After dismissal, proceed directly to your car
once it has arrived.
• If your car has not arrived yet, please stay at
the designated waiting area.
• Observe proper distancing and wear your
mask
