THANKSGIVING IN GETTING SET FOR SHILOH 2022’

Monday, 5th December 2022

Engaging The Power of Thanksgiving in Getting Set for Shiloh 2022
 Thanksgiving is a covenant requirement for answered prayers – Phi 4:6 / Prov. 3:5-6
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Prov. 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In
all thy ways acknowledge him

 Thanksgiving empowers us to see God’s promises fulfilled – 1 Thess. 5:18 / Heb. 10:36
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.
Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye
might receive the promise.

 We must keep giving thanks for answered prayers – Jhn 11:42 / Jhn 11:22
John 11:42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand
by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 11:22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it
thee.

 ‘Shiloh 2022’ shall fully deliver God’s plan and purpose as a result of our prayers,
thanksgiving and praises – 2 Chr. 20:1-5 / 2 Chr. 20: 22-24
2 Chronicles 20:1-5 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the
children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against
Jehoshaphat to battle. 2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There
cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and,
behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi. 3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set
himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. 4 And Judah
gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of
Judah they came to seek the LORD. 5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of
Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court,
2 Chronicles 20:22-24 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set
ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come
against Judah; and they were smitten. 23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood
up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when
they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
Prov. 3:5-6 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they
looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and
none escaped.

Engaging The Power of Thanksgiving in Getting Set for Shiloh 2022
 Every prayer that must be answered must be accompanied with thanksgiving – Phi.
4:6/ 1 Jhn 5:14-15
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing
according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we
ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

 Jesus having prayed, gave thanks, Lazarus came forth out of the grave, fulfilling
prophecy – Jn. 5:25 / Jn. 11:25/41-45
John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall
hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
John 11:25/41-45 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth
in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 41 Then they took away the stone from
the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank
thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because
of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43
And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And
he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was
bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. 45 Then
many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did,
believed on him.

 Jesus gave thanks, five loaves and two fishes multiplied supernaturally to feed five
thousand men – Jn. 6:9-13 / Matt. 15:36
John 6:9-13 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but
what are they among so many? 10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there
was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11
And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the
disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as
much as they would. 12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the
fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. 13 Therefore they gathered them together,
and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained
over and above unto them that had eaten.
Matthew 15:36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake
them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
 This is the pattern to follow to see prayers answered and prophecies fulfilled
– 1 Thess. 5:18/ Heb. 12:1-2/ 1 Pet. 2:21
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.
Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and
let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author
and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving
us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Note: There shall be 4 Thanksgiving Prayers and 12 minutes of Thanksgiving

and Praise. As such, there shall be no Personal Supplication for these 2 days
