As stated on the DO No. 021, s. 2023 and in consistence with DM No.

062, s. 2022 or the Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guideline of the Division
of Sarangani, Blat Integrated School conducted its Brigada Eskwela Program
with the theme Brigada Eskwela: Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan,
Tara na mag Brigada na Tayo!” from August 14-19, 2023. This program
Brigada Eskwela focused on school maintenance, clean-up, disinfection,
repair activities and provision of school resource gaps to ensure the safety of
learners, teachers and the school community. In line with these aims, to
address the needs of the school, especially during disasters and calamities,
as well as addressing the resource gaps in collaboration with stakeholders
and partners for the eventual conduct of face-to-face classes.

Furthermore, before the implementation, our School Facilities

Coordinator assessed the physical facilities and maintenance needs with the
help of the School Watching Team, Parents-Teachers Association, School
Governing Council and the Representative/s from SSG and SPG.

The simultaneous Kick-Off Ceremony per school happened on August

14, 2023. The energy coming from the volunteers and stakeholders were
profound as to the initial task that includes campus-wide clean-up involving
sweeping the grounds to remove litter and debris. We ensured each
volunteer's attendance was recorded, appreciating their commitment.

On the Day 2, August 15, 2023, the teamwork was inspiring as we

evaluated classrooms for unnecessary decorations and posters. Oversized
signages with commercial content were taken down, aligning with the
guidelines. Volunteers demonstrated their dedication as they meticulously
removed distractions from classroom walls. We ensured clean schools by
clearing classrooms of unnecessary materials, decorations, and signage per
the guidelines. As we wrapped up the day, we acknowledged and thanked
each participant, recognizing their vital role in the process.
For Day 3, August 16, 2023, as we continued to contribute to the
Brigada Eskwela through refreshing classroom walls and facilities with the
help of Regional Mobile Force Battalion’s – 1201st Maneuver Company of
Philippine National Police - PRO 12. The unity was palpable as we worked
together to create a clean and pleasant learning environment.

On August 17, 2023 – Day 4, the involvement of volunteers, including

parents, students and community members, remained steady. Our attention
shifted to the outdoor spaces, where we trimmed trees and watered plants.
This engagement extended beyond classrooms, reflecting a holistic
commitment to the school environment.

As day 5 approached dated August 18, 2023, the 38th Infantry

Battalion of 6th Infantry Division – Armed Forces of the Philippines,
volunteers, parents, learners and community members participated in the
painting of classroom walls and ground maintenance as it showcased their
dedication to maintaining cleanliness as a collective endeavor.

On the final day – August 18, 2023, we united to reflect on our

collective accomplishments through having Culmination Program. Learners,
parents and community members took pride in the transformed school
environment. Our gratitude is extended to the donors who provided
essential resources. Their contributions have been instrumental in realizing
our goals. As we looked ahead, plans were discussed to sustain this spirit of
