TECHNOMELT DM 9819 is a hot melt adhesive developed for non-woven disposable wetness indicators. It changes color from orange to blue when contacted with urine, allowing the indicator to vividly show wetness. It has a softening point of around 55°C and should be applied between 80-110°C depending on the machine and substrates used. The adhesive is supplied in amber solid form in 24kg cartons and has a storage life of one year when kept below 40°C.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES
TECHNOMELT DM 9819 is hot melt adhesive specifically
developed to be suited for non-woven disposable wetness APPEARANCE
indicator. When it is contacted with the urine, it will Amber Color Solid
change the color from orange to blue vividly.

Suggested for all standard hot melt slot applicator. @ 120ºC: Approx. 700cps
Operating Temperature: 80℃ to 110℃, depending on @ 100ºC: Approx. 1700cps
machines, substrates, environment, … etc. @ 90ºC: Approx. 2800cps
@ 80ºC: Approx. 5200cps

SOFTENING POINT
STORAGE Approx. 55ºC, Ring & Ball

Store in a dry place where the temperature is below STANDARD PACKAGE

PRECAUTIONS
READ PRECAUTIONS AND MSDS
• Do not mix with other adhesives.
BEFORE USING ADHESIVE
• Keep containers and pre-melters covered to avoid
contamination.
• Material is applied hot. Appropriate clothing and eye
protection should be used.
• Rotate stock - first in, first out.
