READING AND GRAMMAR

Our bunk bed room

I’m Thomas and this is my brother, Andrew. We live in
a modern house in the city.
Our mother is a designer, and she is always trying to
give the rooms in our house a new look. This time, she
had a big surprise for us - a new bedroom!
It’s very
cool! The walls are grey, our favourite colour, and
the ceiling is white. And now we have a bunk bed.
We love it!
Our homework space is cool and quiet. There’s a
desk next to the bunk bed and there are two
comfortable chairs. There is a modern lamp on the
desk. Our computer is there, too; we use it when we’re doing our homework. Above the desk
there’s the “PLAY” shelf. On this shelf there are some balls of our favourite sports - basketball,
handball and… football, of course! Our MP3 player is there, too. We love music!
Opposite the bunk bed and the desk there’s a big wardrobe (our clothes are all in the wardrobe)
and a bookcase, where we keep our books, our car collection, games and other toys. On the
wall there are some of our favourite photos.
We love our new bedroom!
