※ Note
- Please do not turn off the printer and your computer until firmware update finishes.
- If you are using USB connection, disconnect all other USB printers from the PC.
- The firmware update you are about to install has been tested for compatibility
with Samsung toner cartridge products ONLY.
Installing The upgrade may cause a non-Samsung toner cartridge to malfunction.
- Do not run your printer during the firmware update.(Do not have any print job)
How to update the firmware

1. Make sure that the machine is connected to the PC with a USB cable
2. Check the currently f/w version of your printer.
If the f/w version is V3.xx.01.xx, execute a upgrade patch file as below.
2-1) Execute C46xW_Upgrade_Patch.exe
And then patch rom will be download on the machine
2-2) Please wait until green LED is ON.(About 2 minute)
* Reference
① Red LED Blinking for about 30 sec
② Green LED ON for 30 sec
③ Red LED Blinking for 60 sec
④ Green LED ON
Go on the next step
If the f/w version is V3.xx.02.xx, go on No. 3
3. Drag 'SWUPGRADE_ON.prn' and drop down it on usblist.exe.

4. Drag a f/w file 'C460W_V3.00.02.21.hd' and Drop down it on usblist2.exe

5. The firmware update will start.


Once the firmware update is complete, the machine will be rebooted automatically.
