4.4.3 Two-handed operation of the external control unit
Opening
Operate the two switches accordingly. Move the left-hand switch down and
the right-hand switch up.
Open the platform until it is practically horizontal. Remember to tilt it upwards
so that the platform is in a horizontal position in its loaded state.
If the lorry is not on an even surface (i.e. it is facing uphill or downhill), the plat-
form must be positioned horizontally - see figures. (The position you select will
be assumed by the platform automatically for each subsequent lift process).
Tilting down
Operate the two switches accordingly. Move the left-hand switch down and
the right-hand switch up.

Lowering
Move both switches down.
Lower the platform until it rests on the road surface. Hold the operating levers
in the “Lower” position until the platform has been lowered all the way down
to the ground.
Raising
Move both switches up.
Only actuate the “Raise” function. The edge of the platform raises up first,
travelling to the horizontal preset position from above, then the platform lifts
off the ground. Move it up to the top edge of the vehicle floor. Remember to tilt
it upwards so that the platform is in a horizontal position in its loaded state.

switch up and right-hand switch down.
Actuate the “Close” function until the platform is positioned against the lorry
superstructure.
If the tail-gate lift is equipped with a “soft close” function, the
final part of the closing process occurs at a reduced speed.

A so-called control module is plugged
into the control board.
The control module handles all func-
tions for controlling the platform (pedal

On the advanced control-board vari-

hydraulic supports, Sure-Loc, etc.
All basic functions of the tail-gate lift
