Subsequent upgrade new firmware as you need, SAS Raid and volume(s) re-creation, and Restore of all data, would provided for

•After downloading, double-click install
Notes
•Be sure you have Java installed. You can download Java from
Apple's site
•The compressed installer should be recognized by Stuffit
Expander and should automatically be expanded after
downloading. If it is not expanded, you can expand it manually
using StuffIt Expander 6.0 or later.
•If you have any problems launching the installer once it has
been expanded, make sure that the compressed installer was
expanded using Stuffit Expander. If you continue to have
problems, please contact technical support.

•Be sure you have Java installed. You can download

•In a console window, change to the directory where
you downloaded install.jar to before running the
installer
•Your operating system may invoke Java in a different
way. To start the installer, add install.jar to
your CLASSPATH, then start the main class of the
installer named install

SES
Firmware Upgrade

4.1 SES Boards Version
To upgrade the SES firmware, first you need to check SES board
version number. Check in the LCD display the SES version (use
arrow down key).
“SES2” means Version 2.x of PRO-90-5601 SES board
PRO-90-5601 Baud Rate Terminal Setting is 115200.
“SES” means Version 1.x of PRO-90-6601 SES board
PRO-90-6601 Baud Rate Terminal Setting is 38400.

Another option is to check the SES board version. Power off the
RAID subsystem and remove the SES module. Check the board
version from the label marked on the SES board.

NOTE: The upgrade process is done twice. The first time needs a
jumper in JP8. The second time does not need a jumper.
•Power off the RAID system. Remove the SES Module. Insert a jumper in JP8 of
SES board PRO-90-6601.
