from CAN bus.
RX
I/O SM1 - Power supply module supplies necessary
voltages to other modules on the bus.
Bus connection is accomplished with hidden data
contacts on the sides of the modules.
END – A blank module to keep the other modules
squeezed together and keep bus contacts in contact.
During boot and also when CAN communication is
not present, the TX/RX LEDs will blink alternately.
When CAN communication is enabled/restored, the
TX/RX LEDs will blank and the I/O LED will flash
intermittently then turn on solid green.

Configuration procedure:
NORMAL UPS Power NORMAL • Switch OFF mod. pwr sup (unplug J7-24V to CANopen module)
• Set all Dip switches (SW) on OFF position
DI1-A=ON DI1-A=ON DI1 DI2 RO1 • Supply power to the module (+24V)
DI1-B=OFF DI1-B=OFF • Set the CAN bus speed: set SW 1 ON and SW2 ON for 250K. Stop &
DI1-C=OFF DI1-C=OFF Run LEDS blink/are lit.
DI1-D=ON DI1-D=ON • Save speed setting by setting SW8 ON. Blinking Led is lit.
DI2-A=ON DI2-A=ON UPS Power • Switch OFF the module power supply (+24V)
DI2-B=OFF DI2-B=ON • Set all switches (SW) on OFF position
DI2-C=OFF DI2-C=ON DI1 DI2 RO1 • Configure node Id = 8 by setting SW4 to ON
DI2-D=OFF DI2-D=ON • Supply power to the module (+24V). The node Id will be read by the
RO1-A=OFF RO1-A=ON system at each power on/module boot
RO1-C=OFF RO1-C=OFF
