camping and conditions that will be encountered

2. Sleeping Bag – warm and comfortable sleeping
bag is essential for a goof night’s sleep. Consider
its temperature rating and the climate you will
be camping in.
3. Food and Water – pack non-perishable food
items that are easy to prepare and don’t require
refrigeration. Bring plenty of water or a water
purification system.
4. Fire Starter - reliable fire starter is essential for
cooking, warmth, and even signaling for help in
emergencies.
5. First Aid Kit – well-stocked first aid kit is
essential for treating minor injuries and illnesses
while camping. Include items such as bandages,
antiseptic wipes, pain relievers, and any
prescription medications you may need.
6. Pocketknife – can be used for food preparation,
cutting rope, and kindling for a fire.
7. Map and Compass – map and compass or GPS
device can help navigate while hiking or
exploring the area around campsite.
