Rules of the Room:
The overriding goal of this room is to create a community of people who help each other
become the best traders they can be. In other words, let's help each other make money in
the markets. At the end of the day, we want everyone's equity curve to gradually move
from the lower left of their screen to the upper right. The markets are challenging and they
are constantly throwing curve balls, some of which will bean us right in the face. These are
all events we can get through together. If done right, our collective experience as a group
will give all of us what all traders crave: An edge. Everyone in the room is unique. Everyone
in the room will be focusing on slightly different aspects of the market. This is the
knowledge we want to collectively absorb as a group - this will enable everyone involved to
make the best trading decisions humanly possible, whether that is bailing on a trade that
isn't working, or giving a winner a little more room to run. And, of course, finding the next
high probability trade.
To this end, we think it is important that we stay "on task" as a group by staying focused on
continual improvement, learning from our mistakes, managing our accounts with rules that
minimize losses (and losses will happen) and expand our gains. While the vast majority of
participants will get this and dive right in there will always be individuals who, in the end,
will detract from the mission. And they will need to be cut loose. To that end, here are the
guidelines to the room: By logging into the room you agree to following terms of use. A
violation of these rules will result in your group chat abilities in the room being terminated
for a period of time determined by an admin. Repeat offenders will have their group chat

terminated permanently. In extreme cases an admin reserves the right to ban someone
from the room permanently. If a member is banned from the room that member will not
get a refund, prorated or otherwise, for violating these terms.
1. I understand the primary purpose of the room is live trading and analysis. I
understand I may not get all my questions answered by the presenter while he/she
is engaged in trading and analysis. The presenter may not be able to analyze a
stock or ETF I choose.
2. I agree when a moderator is presenting to keep my group chat discussions on
trading or the topic the presenter is discussing. General chat can be engaged during
off hours.
3. I will not use vulgar words excessively. I will not engage in hate speech, ethnic or
racial slurs.
4. I will be respectful and courteous to members and moderators. No name calling,
harassment or abuse toward anyone is allowed.
5. I will not use all caps in the room or multiple exclamation marks. I understand this
simulates shouting which will not be tolerated.
6. I will not excessively complain about my life, the government, Simpler Trading, or
anything else non-trading related. This is called bitching and that is what friends,
psychiatrists, and alcohol are for.
7. I agree that if I violate terms 3-6 that I am a jerk and I deserve to be banned from
the room immediately without a refund.
8. I understand that advertising, soliciting of members, trading of goods or services, or
other commercial use is not allowed in the room. Soliciting of members is strictly
prohibited and will result in the immediate termination of my subscription and
membership to Simpler Trading and any affiliated websites without a refund.
9. I agree not to post my email address, phone number, or any other contact
information in the group chat.
10. I agree that because of regulations I will not make unsubstantiated income or
trading claims in the room. CFTC and NFA rules state that we cannot post
hypothetical results unless they are marked as such. If I post any trading results
from my live trading account I will provide proof to back up the claim. If the results
are hypothetical I will state that the trades are hypothetical upfront.
11. I understand that Simpler Trading has the right to add or change the Rules of the
Room at any time.
