SILICONE OIL 350
Description
Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350 is a clear, non-toxic, inert and odourless straight chained
polydimethylsiloxane fluid with a multitude of uses. It has a wide operational
temperature range as well as a low viscosity change with temperature fluctuations.
Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350 has a high compressibility, is non-corrosive, chemically inert to
most materials, possesses excellent thermal stability and demonstrates high shear
stability.
Additionally, Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350 has a very low order of toxicity, and if handled
with reasonable care will present negligible skin irritation problems.
Application
Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350 has many uses throughout industry and beyond. Such
examples, where Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350 can be used as a lubricant, are in a variety of
fitness equipment, such as treadmills, weight training equipment, and cross trainers, for
example, as well as for linkages and sliding surfaces often found in specific small radio and
remote control model cars, tanks, boats, and even drones. A few drops will make a
significant impact on the smooth running of these items.
Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350 is commonly used for the lubrication of elastomers and plastics,
often during assembly, but also throughout operation of assembled components.
Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350 can also be used as an ingredient for many other applications
such as in water repellent compounds, di-electric fluid blends, and in the formulation for
release agents and polishes.
There are many other uses for Lubrisolve Silicone Oil 350, too numerous to mention, but
particularly in the field of lubrication where a small amount drastically reduces friction
and, of course more critically, improves the operational performance and reduces wear.
