Pad Modes
The MixTrack Pro 3 supports three padmodes: Manual Loop, Auto Loop, and Sampler.
To access the different pad modes, Press and hold the 'Pad Mode' button while pressing either the
Manual Loop, Auto Loop, or Sampler button to engage the pad mode that you desire.
Pad Mode: Sampler

When in Sampler Pad Mode, pressing buttons 1

through 4 (and 5 through 8 on the other deck) will
play the sample assigned to the respective position
in your sample bank.r

Pad Mode: Auto Loop

When in Auto-Loop Pad Mode, pressing on buttons

1/4 through 16 will engage/disengage the
respective auto-loop.

Pad Mode: Manual Loop

When in Manual Loop Pad Mode, pressing:

IN Sets the beginning-point of

the loop.

OUT Sets the end-point of the

loop, and begins looping.

ON/OFF If currently looping, exits

the loop.
If not looping, re-engages
the loop.
1/2 or *2 Halves the current loop
size.

Shift + 1/2 or *2 Doubles current loop size.

 Pitch and Tempo
Pitch Bend
Press and hold down the Pitch 'Bend Down' button to gradually down-pitch the currently
playing track. Likewise for the 'Pitch Bend Up' button.

Pitch/Tempo Fader

Adjust the 'Pitch Fader' slider either up or down to adjust the pitch for the currently
playing track, within the 'Pitch/Tempo Range' that has been set in PCDJ Dex 3 or Red
Mobile options menu.

FX Controls
Touch Strip
The Tough Strip is used to the
Wet/Dry FX parameter for
the currently selected FX.
FX 1
Enables/Disables the Echo FX.
FX 2
Enables/Disables the Delay
FX.
FX 3
Enables/Disables the Flanger
FX.
TAP
Adjust BPM by tapping the
button.
FX Parameter Knob
The FX Parameter Knob
allows you to adjust both FX
Parameter 1 and FX
Parameter 2 of the currently
selected FX:
Shift + FX Parameter
Parameter 1
Knob turn
Shift + FX Parameter
Parameter 2
Knob turn
Volume/Browser Controls
EQ High Knob
Adjusts the High EQ setting for the
currently loaded track.
EQ Mid Knob
Adjusts the Mid EQ setting for the
currently loaded track.
EQ Low Knob
Adjusts the Low EQ setting for the
currently loaded track.
Cut-Off Filter Knob
Adjusts the filter.
Deck Monitor Button
Allows you to listen to the currently
playing track through the headphones,
from the soundcard that you currently
have selected in DEX 3 / Red Mobile 3
sound configuration options for
previewing/monitoring.
Deck Volume Slider
Adjusts the deck volume.
Cross Fader Slider
Adjust this slider to fade from one deck
to the other.
Folder/File Browser Button/Knob
The Folder/File Browser Button toggles
between Folder List Browser Mode and
File List Browser Mode.

The Knob, when turned allows you to

navigate the highlighted Folder or File
list, depending on which Browser Mode
you've toggled.
Load Deck Button
The Load Deck Button serves two
purposes: Select/Expand a folder to view
the files/folders within (when in Folder
Browser Mode), and to load the currently
highlighted track into the respective deck
(When in File Browser Mode)
Jog Wheel, Cue Points, and Play controls
Jog Wheel
Jog Mode: Scratches the
On Track
Jog Mode: Moves the Track
Off
Jog Mode: Searches the
Off + Shift Track
Jog Mode Button
Enables/Disables Scratch Mode
Shift Button
Held down when pressing
another button that offers
alternate functionality, accesses
that alternate functionality.
Sync Button
Sync Beat Matches
Deck with
Master Deck.
Shift + Sync Tempo Matches
Deck with
Master Deck.
Cue Button
Cue Goes to Cue point.
Shift + Cue Goes to beginning
of Track.
Play/Pause Button
When Paused or Cued, Plays the
track. When playing, Cues the
track.
Shift + Play/Pause Engages /
Disengages
Brake
Effect.

Cue Points
CUE 1-4 Sets a Cue Point.
When Cue Point has
been set, moves track
to the location of that
Cue Point.
Shift + Deletes the Cue Point
Cue 1-4 that has been set.
