SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

the right tools and resources. Tummee's mission is to provide yoga teachers around the world
with the right tools so that they can plan and teach effective yoga classes.
In this endeavor to help yoga teachers, we have built a sophisticated yoga platform that allows
yoga teachers to plan their lessons efficiently. The platform also acts as a knowledge repository
for yoga teachers by providing them access to an extensive library of yoga poses and
sequences. We are continuously evolving our product to better serve the needs of yoga

What you will be doing:
Work with the founders and software team to:
1. Develop new features and enhance existing product.
2. Analyze feedback and improve upon features under development.
3. Test your work for zero defect deployment.
4. Design for performance and scalability.
5. Participate in software engineering discussions to implement as well as improve
development processes.
6. Ensure customer delight.
7. Learn new technologies.
8. And above all, have fun!

The following skills will go a long way in ensuring your success at our fast-paced environment:
1. Strong analytical skills.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Experience with any of the following programming languages - Python (Preferred), C++,
Java.
4. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
5. Good understanding and experience of building scalable web applications.
6. For Fresh graduates and students currently in final year: 7 and above CGPA (till latest
semester) including no active backlogs. 90% or above in 10th and 85% or above in 12th
(CBSE). For other state boards 90 percentile and above.
7. For experienced candidates: Above average academic credentials and evidence of
excellence in past work experience.

8. A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to meet and exceed commitments, consistently.
Good to have:
1. Knowledge about software development principles and patterns.
2. Experience with web-frameworks such as Webapp2, Django and Flask.
3. Experience with jQuery, react.js, HTML, CSS and Javascript.
4. Experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Google App Engine.
5. Understanding of the internals of git version control.
