rrorsh is a realm built upon fear,
whose denizens survive day to day by

TORG OR TREAT
understanding what to expect, how to
avoid trouble, and what steps to take when trouble
occurs. But Orrorsh thwarts these efforts by keeping
secrets, springing surprises, and dimming the hope
needed to survive. This products describes some of
what hides in Orrorsh.

ORRORSH SECRET
SOCIETIES
Even before the arrival of the High Lords people
in India have had a fascination with secret societies,
recording a growing membership in Freemasonry
in recent years and forwarding a continuing debate
regarding the existence of the Thuggee cult under
British Rule – did it ever exist at all? Was it just
British propaganda? Or does it still exist in secret
today?
Victorians travelling from Gaia bring many secret
societies with them as well. Their strict society
ruled over by priests of the Sacellum engender

scraps of knowledge they can or enjoy themselves

the Gaunt Mans corruption there were those who
sought after secret knowledge. All around the

holding their assembled lore safe in sanctums
where it would be safe from the wrong hands.

But the nature of Orrorsh makes it nearly
impossible to report the full details of a story.
Many times the cause of an incident is unknown;
other times those who know the details fear
repurcussion should they reveal them. Other
times agents of the Gaunt Man control the flow of
information, releasing enough to fuel speculation
and fear, but not enough to truly understand what
has happened.
Despite this, brave reporters seek to shed light
on the happenings in Orrorsh. Some investigative
journalists work hand in hand with Storm Knights
to track down the evils and horrors endemic to
Orrorsh. This results in short life expectency among
journalists.
Below, please find many articles that may be of

Core Earth, for the most part, has a relatively low
Magic Axiom compared to other cosms. However,
unlike most other cosms, Core Earth exhibits a
large variation in Magic Axiom across the globe.
Although the vast majority of the surface of the
planet is Magic 9, there are locations that can
exhibit even higher values.
These locations (see below) exist because Core
Earth’s Magic Axiom used to be higher but dropped
starting around 1000-2000 years ago. The stories
from those bygone eras have stuck around, but the
real-world effects disappeared, for the most part.
At Magic 9, the concept of arcane traditions exists,
allowing the organized study of magic. Alteration
magic exists, but can only affect insubstantial objects,
or magic itself. Limited apportation is possible,
through the movement of small objects. Divination
is the primary form of magic seen throughout the
world, though even though it is possible for those
effects to be widespread (including the targeting
of individuals) the number of true spellcasters
is quite low (there are plenty of stage magicians,
pretenders, and con artists though).
Although most magical locations on Core Earth
are only slightly higher than the rest of the cosm
(Magic 10-12) there are uncommon locations where
magical transportation is possible (Magic 15). The
