2024 SUB – OFFICE SPORTS CLINIQUING IN COACHING AND OFFICIATING
1. In cognizant with the Division Memorandum No. 028, s. 2024, 2024
Palarong Panlalawigan (Division Meet), Angono Sub - Office will conduct the
2024 Sub-Office Sports Cliniquing in Coaching and Officiating with the
theme “Rizaleño Sports: Celebrating Outs-10-Ding Performance through
the Years” on January 29-30, 2024, via online platform and face-to-face on
January 31, 2024, and February 1-2, 2024, at Angono Elementary School.
2. This activity aims to:
a) define and refresh the roles, duties and responsibilities of coaches,
assistant coaches, chaperons, and officials.
b) enhance the skills of coaches, assistant coaches, chaperons, and officials
in the different sports events.
c) perform as officiating officials as part of their output during Municipal
Sports Competition; and
d) select the best coaches and officiating officials who will serve during
provincial, regional and Palarong Pambansa sports competition.
3. Resource Persons in the different sports events shall meet the participants
physically on the scheduled dates and answer all the queries as far as
coaching and officiating of a sports event is concerned.
4. All participants after the 5-day initial phase of the training workshop will
receive a Certificate of Participation.
5. Each school is expected to send Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Chaperons
without training since 2020 up to present which are coming from the
teaching and non-teaching on regular classes including Alternative Learning
System (ALS) and Special Needs Education (SNED) personnel.
6. Attendees are expected to be at their respective venues during workshops
bringing with them their tumbler, personal sports equipment such as
racquet, gloves, etc., and extra t-shirts/shorts/jogging pants for the
practicum. Participants are advised to come in sports attire during the
training workshop. Hence, the use of face masks must always be observed
except during workshops.
7. Participants are advised to bring their own provision for food during the
conduct of the crash course.
8. In addition, attendance of all School Heads/Municipal Screening Committee
Chairpersons are expected to be at Angono Elementary School on February
1, 2024, at 8:00 AM for their refresher course face- to -face meeting.
