game, Francisco Torres “AKA” kumander Rumagit and Dometric Ramos “AKA” Tata Mitring are some of

Background: “History”

I was employed in Foremost Farm Inc. (FFI) Asia’s largest piggery farm on May 6, 1979 with a
salary of ₱ 5.00/ day. After 6 months of hardworking I became a regular employee and at the same time,
promoted to a higher position as a Vet. Attd., also I became as Asst. Foreman of Farrowing Section, full
pledge foreman of Growing & Fattening Section, then back to Farrowing and after several years of VG
performances I was transferred to Breeding Section as Foreman until I decided to resign from the
company on 13th Jan, 2002.

I started to joined in Foremost Sikaran Club headed by Mr. Osias C. Banaag as Chief Instructor
and his younger brother Emmanuel C. Banaag Asst. Instructor on Feb. 1978, being a white belt. I was
promoted to Green Belt on May 1978 in just 3 months of hard training. I challenged myself to
train/practice everyday from Monday thru’ Sunday 4:00 a.m to 6:00 am, 6:00p.m to 8:00 p.m,. 7:00am to
5:00 pm is my working hours in the company but due to my eagerness in Sikaran Martial Arts, I used to
finished my task quickly then practice during working hours. By this kind of attitude of hard training,
sparring with the brown belts, black belt and even my Chief Instructor sparred me oftentimes until such
time he chose me to become one of the three (3) man team to fight against the Australian Black belt with
a height of 5’10, 6’1 & 6’2 respectively, this happened on Dec. 5, 1978 in Marikina Sports Complex.
Fortunately, I won the fight; I beat the 5’10 & 6’1 in height via Knock Out (KO) and by unanimous decision
the other one who is the tallest among the 3.

By passing the difficult test, our Chief Instructor accelerate promotes me from Green Belt to
Black Belt, in just ten (10) months of hard (self) training I achieved this kind of honor in Sikaran Martial
Arts thru’ Foremost Sikaran Club, headed by our Chief Instructor Osias C. Banaag.

In 2005 to 2007 I tried to teach Sikaran to the students in Guzman Inst. Of Agriculture and
Technology (GIAT) but it did not prosper. In 2011 to 2013 I tried it again teaching Sikaran to the students
of BPNHS and with the Lord’s Grace, 3 male students became a “Provincial Meet Champion”; they are:

1. Christian Paul Bonilla - 2x Champion

2. Jaypher Mayormita - 1x champion
3. Kimbert Perez - 1x champion
Respectively.

“The Birth of Baras One Pinugay Sikaran Martial Arts aka. BOPSMA”

June 2018, I started with the small group of Elementary and High School students as a part of
God’s Ministry to reach out the youth for the Word of God. July 2018 we conducted a free orientation
plus a simple DEMO inside the school campus and to every classroom from grade 7 to grade 10 phase 1
and phase 2 as a part of promotion of Baras One Pinugay Sikaran Martial Arts - BOPSMA. After the
orientation, many students were inspired and decided to join the Sikaran Martial Arts Training.

July 31,2018, the United Sikaran Alliance (USA) headed by GM Geoffre M. Banaag and his
younger brother Master Jeffferson “Mandirigma” Banaag together with the USA Officers formally
welcoming BOPSMA being one of their newly affiliated Sikaran Club member. In August 30, 2018, I
became bonfide member of the United Sikaran Alliance with a Reg.#RN2400. Our regular training
schedule was/is MWF at 3:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m with sharing the Word of God first before practice, our
Biblical reference is found in 1 timothy 4:7-8 H’wag mong pag-aksayahan ng panahon ang mga alamat

Mr. Eddie Gabiana is my Asst. Instructor a plain Black belt with RN#2401, he is holding a “tittle”
