learn and use these vocabulary words: knight, Europe, stained glass, portcullis, drawbridge, ramparts,
turret, catapult, castle, breastplate, lance, ax, bow and arrow, shield, sword, chivalry, coat of arms,
squire, page, chain mail, Medieval Times, and more. Barnaby learns about the different levels or
wards of the castle and their defences. You could create multiple handprints to create a more detailed
