Now that your article has been accepted for publication, it is necessary for us to have the following information
concerning page charges. This form is informal and is to be used only in planning the contents of each issue and in
finalizing our production schedule. You will receive an official IEEE page charge authorization form when you receive
galley proofs of your article. We must have this form before scheduling your paper for publication, so, please review
the policy statement regarding page charges and then check the appropriate response below, sign your name and return
this form promptly to the Editor at the above address.
Policy Statement Regarding Page Charges: “Papers will be reviewed on the basis of their technical merit, and
decisions to publish will be made independently of an author’s willingness or ability to pay page charges. Page charge
of $110 per page will be requested for papers of five printed pages or less. Page charges of $110 per page are
mandatory for each page in excess of five printed pages. Papers not covered by page charges may need to be reduced
in length to five printed pages. The Editor may waive the mandatory page charge requirement for exceptional papers
or because of other extenuating circumstances.”
Please check item (a) or (b) if your article is estimated to be five typeset pages or less:
( ) a. I and/or my institution accept the obligation to pay page charges of $110 per page in partial support of the
costs of publishing this article.
(x) b. I and/or my institution can not accept the obligation to pay page charges of $110 per page.
Please check item (c), (d) or (e) if your article is estimated to be more than five typeset pages:
( ) c. I and/or my institution accept the obligation to pay page charges of $110 per page for the first five pages
and mandatory page charges of $110 per page for those pages in excess of five.
( ) d. Although I and/or my institution can not accept the obligation to pay page charges of $110 per page for the
first five pages, we do accept the obligation to pay mandatory page charges of $110 per page for those pages
in excess of five.
( ) e. I and/or my institution can not accept the obligation to pay mandatory page charges of $110 per page for
those pages in excess of five. In this case, the author should contact the Editor concerning the possibility of
shortening the manuscript to five or fewer typeset pages.
Do not send payments with this form; an invoice will be sent to you directly from IEEE.
