Routine is a rhythm of the day. Have a structure to your day, we all have all kinds of
routine. Kids, ladies, guys have their routine
The routine are meant to lead to a better state of health to mind and body
If you have planned your day. You have time for everything. If you not, everything
just happens it gives different impact to your mind and energy. In the planned
day, you have time for everything, you feel that day become so smooth and easy, feel
so relax. If there is an unplanned day, everything just happens, you must rush here
and there, your feel nervous, the hear bite faster, you will not feel calm
Ahar -food plays an important tole in our daily life. You are what you eat, we must
pay attention to what we eat, how much to eat, what to eat and how to eat, what
should bet the attitude towards food.
In each of us, there is a proportion of each guna, without tamas, we would not sleep
and without rajas we would lack dynamism

Sattvic food is natural food. it is easily digestible food. It is fibrous food. Full of fiber,
it is a complete holistic nutritious food.
Sattvic diet is diet not excited your nervous system, some foods are excited your
nervous system, sattva diet do not.
Sattvic diet is fresh fruit vegetables, they are fresh and seasonal, nowadays, we have
green house, you can find melon and leaf vegetables thought out the year, but they
are not seasonal. Seasonal fresh fruits ad vegetable has lots of food and positive
energy for us and they are easily digestible, does not take much energy to digest.
Every fruit and vegetables have its own season, eat at that time. 4
Sattvic food, we have wheat, wheat products, whole wheat grain.
Rice, we prefer unpolished rice. Nowadays the rice is well polished. They are
undergone many processing under the machine. Unpolished brown rice contain
substance for digestive system to digest food’.
For sweets, we have sugar, but totally unrefined sugar, made up of sugar cane juice,
jaggery is a good sweetener, honey is another one. we have coconut sugar, palm
sugar
Milk and mild products. Milk is a complete food dairy product such as butter, butter
milk, cheese, ghee all are recommended. Milk is valued of its protein vitamin and
mineral contents.
Oil, yogis talk about butters, from the butter, it makes the pure ghee. It is important
to your nervous system. Every day 1 tablespoon.
For spices, the highest marks you get is ginger, ginger mush go in our body and ginger
is most sattvic. It brings of all the three doshas balanced.
Pray before you have the food when the food comes to you. Some many people do
not have enough food. Foods comes to you. You have gratitude. Gratitude to the
one who cook for you, who sell the food in the market, who plant the food in the
farm, there are so many people involved. So many sources are there. So many
energies are going into you. We thank the people, all the people who put the effort
to bring the food to your plated and eat with grateful gratitude heart. Not with
fright, not with anger.
And, with your awareness
When you are angry, excited, do not eat, because your body does not settle, your
emotion goes to every cell of your body. When you are angry. Emotion disturbed in
the mind. Keep the diet light at that moment.
Food may be good for body but not good for mind. It is not allowing your mind to
remain peaceful, balanced, that food would be wrong. So sattvic food is such a food
which has a strong balancing effect on mind. It makes your mind balanced, calm and
so your can live your life very easily.
So that is the shole approach and then we talk about food for soul. All these foods
which are really so natured, so easily digestible, so fresh that it has a very direct
effect on our whole personality.
Rajasic food, non veg, eggs, very heavy spices, too much salt, too much chill and a
food which after eating, you feel very heavy and you want to sleep, that is a food
which we should avoid.
But if you are physical worker or athletics, which consume lots of physical work, you
can eat rich foods.
What tis rich food?? Fresh meat, fresh eggs, fresh fish. We emphasis the word fresh,
not the frozen food. Frozen food contains lots of toxin. So, people are work physical
work may eat this kind of food mut must be fresh. If you are not physical work, those
food give you too much energy, lots of emotions, lots of passion, lots of desires, take
long time to digest.
How they affect your mindtake a piece of cake, chocolate as example. They are
making up by lots of refine sugar, refine flour, lots of butter. too much energy
makes your body want to rest, but the mental level goes up, eat chocolate, very good
feeling but your mind is excited, but when the sugar level in your blood drops. You
will be craving for sugar again, that yours habit of sweet comes. Too rich food,
excitement to the nervous system. Yoga concern your mind, your behaviors. Your
mind, your behavior can be control by diet. Given lighter food for yourself, you are
able to manager your emoting better.
Tamasic food, no nutrition, only fill up your stomach. All the food have a long shelf
life, alcohol, all intoxicated food, or artificial food, colored, favored, vitaminized,
mineralized food, canned food, processed food, frozen food.
Tamasic food that bring dullness, lethargic, toxic feeling you feel full, your brain does
not work body doesn’t work
Home cooked can make sure ingredients is fresh, can ensure what you add in your
meal, can control the portion
We need space for digest, like washing machine, it needs some space, not too full. It
won’t work same as our system
Eat slowly, chew well. We know it before but if we are really do it. Eat slowly,
chewing your every bite, eat well and when you eat, try don’t with you phone, do
one activity at a time, eating means eating, sleeping means sleeping, talking means
talking. One work for a time is good for the mind. Some people think entertaining
when watch tv and eat, but not health. Because our focus is not on eating, focus is
on watching, so emotional.
Eat the food quietly with peaceful and positive mind.
8 glasses of water you drink water, water helps you to flush out toxin.
Eat regularly every 4 hours. Some people will eat a big meal and then keep
staving. which is not good for the system Because the gas will come up. Average
need 4 hours for complete digestion of food. After 4 hours, fire going on, then the
gas and acid will come up. Some people are chest burning, heart burning, because
fore nothing to do. So if you are not hunger, eat some fruit or drink some liquid.
If your system is slow, you don’t need to eat 4 meal a day depending your lifestyle
and profession

Control the thought, have to control imput, control what you see, what you hear,
what you eat, what you feel. Aware my thinking is positiivve or negative
Thought is force, unseen force. You may think it just my thinking. No one knows. But
your conscious polluted. This become your belief system. Every though is a wave, it
leave some energy in your subconsciious mind. Over a period of thme, it becomes
strength but they cant move
Repeat thought become action, you are going act on in, repeat action become habit.
If you don’t control thought, thought control you. Depress people all the time have
the thought the world is so bad, people is so bad and countinue nurturn the negative
thought and then they manifest. So non stop negative thinking. They cant control.
My way of thinking can be negative or positive or neutral. In that order, we should
conveert or negative thoughts into positive and if we are unable to be positive then
we should try to be neutral. But never to all anything to disturb.
Relaxed mind is a positive mind. Excite mind, over working mind can be negative.
Recharging, relaxation, like painting, dancing, feel good factor comes to you, feel
good factor you must thave to balance your feelings
Purpose of rcreation is that ,we livee in the socity, face challenge from each others,
llife full of up and down, so to be able to survive from the up and down wlll. I have
to have fo good feeling.
Recreation is to channalize your hurt feeling and emotiong. Yoga suggest to practice
receation.
Develop friends that is positive people that you can grow up together. Not the
people will put you down. Get away from toxin relationship, resopnsible for your
happiness.
Relaxation with family-> set aside some times each day to enjoy with family. Share
jokes or play games together, laughter is the best medicine. Make healthy routines
each day eg have one meal together as family
