ROTEIRO- APRESENTAÇÃO ORAL DE

INGLÊS, SOBRE BULLYING (LUANA E LARA)

Interviewer - Good morning everybody! Welcome to another "interviewing teenagers".

On today's show, we will interview Luana Martins, a 15-year-old girl who will tell us a little
bit about her experience with bullying.

Hello Lara, first of all, thank you for accepting the invitation to participate in this
conversation and feel welcome.

Interviewed - Good morning Lara, I accepted the invitation with great pleasure since it's
always good to talk about this part of my life that many people don't imagine I've been
through.

Interviewer - So let's get started... Firstly, you claim to have “experienced bullying to the
fullest. Do you want to tell us a little about your story?

Interviewed- At the age of 10, when I entered fifth grade and was forced to change
schools because I had gone to live in another city, my classmates started making fun of
me, they said I was ugly or that I was mean and didn't know how to play with them, so
they excluded me, and that made me start to be a shy and insecure girl.

Interviewer - Did you report or ask someone for help regarding this situation?

Interviewed- No, at first I didn't talk to anyone because I hoped the situation would end
quickly. However, I expressed myself through paper and it was there that I wrote
everything I experienced and felt. And it was only a while later that I decided to talk to my
mother about what was going on because she had already noticed that I was different
from usual.

Interviewer- And what did you felt?

Interviewed- I felt many things but mainly fear. Fear of people thinking that I wasn't
correct, that I wasn't right about what I was saying and that I wouldn't be able to do what
I really wanted, which was to report it.
Interviewer- What did your mom said and how did she reacted?

Interviewed- She was in shock, because, nowadays, bullying is something that is already
talked about a lot in schools and therefore should no longer be practiced. However, she
understood me, she wanted to know all the details and as soon as she had the
opportunity she went to school with me so that the situation could be resolved in the best
way.

Interviewer- I heard that the situation is over; however, the marks remain forever. How do
you feel about this?

Interviewed- Yes, my mother spoke to the teacher who then spoke to those who bullied
me, they apologized and nowadays we are all friends. However, I needed psychological
help because it was a serious situation that ended up affecting me physically and
mentally.

Interviewer- And what is your opinion regarding cyberbullying?

Interviewed- Cyberbullying is something that I have never been involved in, and I hope I
never am, but I believe that it is as important as bullying and that the necessary measures
are equally taken to stop both.

Interviewer- What advice do you have for those who are also going through or have
been through this situation?

Interviewed- Don't let yourself be like I did initially.Report! Bullying is not correct and has
consequences that can affect us.

Interviewer- The interview is over. Thank you Luana and see you next time!

Interviewed- I thank you, Lara, for providing me with this pleasant moment of sharing.
Bye Bye!
