MASTER OF SCIENCE IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE EDUCATION
Course Title: MSCJ 202 - Foundation of Criminology
Course Description:
A comprehensive study of Criminology as a science. It covers
the contribution to criminology of different disciplines like Law,
Jurisprudence, Anthropology, Sociology, History, Medicine, and other
allied disciplines from classical times to the present.
Units: 3 units
Meeting: 3 hrs./week

civilized reactions for learning purposes.
2. Students can raise questions. If I could not answer your questions,
anyone from the group could answer for me or give me time to
research and I will give you the answer later.
3. Every after session, submit a reaction paper.
4. Dress code for live video lecture - wear appropriate upper garment
with collar (no towel hangs on shoulders, no unnecessary sounds or
eye sour in your background)

CONTENT
1. Base your research topics from reliable resources/authors (not on
copy paste books) e.g., PNP Reports, Courts Decided Cases, private
entities, or government research/studies.
2. Present your report in a local and foreign setting.
3. It is a MUST to show your reference/source from the internet, books,
or any publication of related studies.
4. The report should be a case-based/evidence base report, with
statistics, survey results, and the like.
GUIDELINES FOR THE REACTION PAPER
FORM
1. Use Letter size (8.5” x 11”) bond paper.
2. Font Style Arial, Front Size 12, MSW, single space, portrait, 1 inch
margin in all sides
3. Paragraphs shall be properly indented and aligned.
CONTENTS
1. Itemize all main topics of the report and the reaction in sentence
form shall be bulleted.
2. You MUST cite additional typical (true) examples/cases (local or
foreign) in support of your OPINION.
Note: Reporter/s shall accumulate all the reaction papers then upload
as one in a Folder to the Google Drive that I shall provide late
