Semi-automatic Urine Analyzer

For veterinary use only

Operating Manual

Jiangsu Accuracy Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

1 Product Information

1.1 Introduction
Intended use: the semi-auto urine analyzer is used in medical institutions
for semi-quantitative detection of biochemical composition in canine and
feline urine through reading and evaluating the matched test strips
specified by our company. Urinalysis includes the following items:
leucocytes (LEU), nitrite (NIT), urobilinogen (UBG), protein (PRO), potential
of hydrogen (pH), blood (BLD), specific gravity (SG), ketones (KET),
bilirubine (BIL), glucose (GLU), vitamin C (VC), calcium (Ca), creatinine (Cr)
and microalbumin (MA).

Main features:
Small and exquisite with stylish design and easy to carry.
Easy operation, measurement completing by pressing one button.
Built-in rechargeable lithium battery can support you to finish the
detection at anytime.
Bluetooth Transmission is supported.
Compatible with urine test strips of 11 to 14 test items.
Detachable test strips holder, easy to clean and reduce pollution.

1.3 Working Principle

A prepared test strip is placed on the test strip holder, which moves it into
the analyzer and under the reading head. The analyzer reads the gray
reference pad first, and then reads each of the test pads on the strip.
The analyzer contains light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that emit light at various
wavelengths. The LED emits light of a defined wavelength onto the surface
orthe test pad at an optimum angle. The light hitting the test zone is
retlected more or less
intensely depending on the color produced on the
test pad, and is
picked up by the detector, a phototransistor positioned
directly above the test zone. The phototransistor sends an analog electrical
SIgnal to an A/D converter, which changes it to digital form. The
icroprocessor then converts this digital reading to a relative retlectance
value by referring it to a calibration standard.
1
Finally, the analyzer compares the reflectance value with the defined range
limits (reflectance values that are programmed into the analyzer for each
parameter) and outputs the result.
