L.OBJECTIVE Explain and give at least 1 appropriate reason for liking the sport. Pupils can conduct a survey where they talk to
Complimentary Skil: Ask at least 3 friends during the survey correctly. each other about the sports they like/dislike.
1. Teacher writes the word ‘sports’ on the board and ask pupils to write the names of sports that they know.
2. Pupils refer to textbook page 93 Activity 3. Based on the box in the page, pupils practise with their partners by creating sentences
using the words and choosing the pictures in the box.
3. Pupils start practicing with their partners (M). Pupils are guided to construct the sentences (L).
4. Teacher draws a table on the board for pupils to copy in their exercise books.
ACTIVITIES
5. Pupils conduct a survey in their class within their a few groups by asking if they like the particular sport and the reason.
REMEDIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. In pair, pupils talk about their favourite sports. (Peer Assistance)
